At night, my big toe twitches and talks to me. It says that he is very smelly and needs a wash. the problem is is that i dont have indoor plumbing and that i live in a cactus, so therefore i cannot wash him. i can barely find food for myself which is just cactus needles. but im worried about my toe too much. what happens when he gets too smelly???

Before anybody jumps to conclusions it is not an ER type of emergency Ive already asked our doctor.

My son was playing in our friend’s backyard and my stupid ( believe me I am totally pissed off at him right now ) husband wasn’t watching him when he tripped and fell into their cactus tree. When I arrived at the house he was naked in the backyard and everybody was trying to pull out the needles from his side and hands.

I pulled out some more , but it was so hard because some had broken off into his skin. My poor baby boy. I gave him Motrin for the pain and bathed him for over an hour to soak and wash away anything lef tin his skin.

The doctor on call said to put Elmer’s glue where we thought there might be some inside still and pull it off tomorrow. Only problem with that is we don’t own any glue nor have any money to buy any.

My son is doing fine right now and I doesn’t seem to be in any pain and nor do I see any more needles in him after the long bath he took.

Does anybody have any suggestions, that have been in this situation????

Please

Thanks
Yeah that sounds awesome, I do have some duct tape. I’ll use that!

I bought a pack of cactus seeds and planted them. To my surprise, they are coming up. The package said to transplant them but it didn’t say how big they should be.

Right now they are a little over a 1/4 tall. I have them in a covered plastic container. When should I move them? How would I replant such small seedlings without damaging them? Any tips on growing cactus would be much appreciated as I have never done this.
