My 4 year old son fell into a cactus today?
Filed Under Injuries | 4 Comments
My son was playing in our friend’s backyard and my stupid ( believe me I am totally pissed off at him right now ) husband wasn’t watching him when he tripped and fell into their cactus tree. When I arrived at the house he was naked in the backyard and everybody was trying to pull out the needles from his side and hands.
I pulled out some more , but it was so hard because some had broken off into his skin. My poor baby boy. I gave him Motrin for the pain and bathed him for over an hour to soak and wash away anything lef tin his skin.
The doctor on call said to put Elmer’s glue where we thought there might be some inside still and pull it off tomorrow. Only problem with that is we don’t own any glue nor have any money to buy any.
My son is doing fine right now and I doesn’t seem to be in any pain and nor do I see any more needles in him after the long bath he took.
Does anybody have any suggestions, that have been in this situation????
Please
Thanks
No, we can’t afford to buy anything currently.
I got about 30 cent to our name.
That is what happens to completely disabled Veteran families who can not work any more.
After the 10th of the month the bills are paid and food in the fridge, we don’t ANY MONEY left over.
There is a bit of FYI for those people who wanted to be nosey and sarcastic about why we can’t afford the glue.
My job is to take care of of my husband who can barely walk some days and take care of our home and our precious son.

They are all plants and stuff: Nutmeg (fresh nutmeg, that’s not ground up), blue lotus, Jimson weed, San Pedro cactus, and Amanitas (mushrooms- not the poisonous kind!). Don’t give me any websites, please. I don’t really trust ordering stuff online. I live in the Midwest, would I be able to find any of this growing somewhere? Could any of these be found at a garden store place?
