Okay, so I need to extract alcohol from the pads, not the fruit, of prickly pear cactus. I’ve got a project to make the alcohol into fuel for a car, and I can’t find any information. And also, even if you can’t give me instructions, any information that could possibly lead me to the answer would be appreciated. Please help me!

    It already boils at 78,37 °C, which is quite low.

    I’d say warm it till 70 degrees, so if there are any fluids with lower boiling temps, they’ll be gone. Then distill it at 80 degrees and you should have your alcohol!
